Chief is an exclusive women’s club for women in position
of power. Chief speaks in a loud and clear voice, about
their intention of building a supportive platform
that uplifts, and forwards women in power. The identity
reflects its attributes of being a “building”, “growing”,
and, “uplifitng” community for strong women.

This project was done as part of a Branding course at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Course Instructors: Abbott Miller and Andrew Walter.

The logotype draws from the “building block” philosophy of the band; built from a
modified Titling Gothic (from Font Bureau), with an added slab on the I, and later as
an underline, which then serves as a recurring element in the brand language.
