Aasawari Kulkarni is a designer, educator, and writer, originally from the historic city of Aurangabad, India. She runs an independent studio practice largely focused on typography, and takes great joy in collaborating with cultural and educational institutions.
She is an assistant professor of design at the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at the George Washingon University. Her work explores the intersection of human behaviour and culture with design. She hold an MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).
